About This Guide
The United States federal government, along with the Georgia state government, publishes a staggering amount of information each year. The bulk of this information is legally required to be made available to the public, and can be very helpful in conducting research. However, this information is often organized differently than other databases or library collections and can be tricky to navigate, particularly in print form.
Much government information since 1976 is available on the web, from any computer. See the "Databases & Web Resources" tab for links to portals that will allow you to search for and access this information. Please do not hesitate to ask library staff for help in locating these resources.
